Here at KIU Entertainment our mission is to help give Veterans in the community a way to gain their independence again, by providing them a means of supporting themselves, and to give them back their dignity by providing them with a place to live and improve their way of life.  They have sacrificed everything for their country and we want to start to repay them for their unselfish acts. 

The Events held by KIU Entertainment helps fund our non-profit organization for Veterans by hosting job fairs, resume writing seminars, workshops & business expos, to help unemployed Veterans get back to work.  We also provide clothing, personal items, and transportation.  We also work closely with the Department of Human Services to help with funding and referrals to affordable housing, therefore helping  homeless veterans keep their dignity by giving them a job and a place to live.

The owner Rodney Hammond is a retired Navy Veteran of 20 years.  His wife of 30 years Timeka Hammond is a retired RN of 25 years, who has dedicated their life to helping others.  As a retired military family they have helped their fellow veterans over the years by sending care packages to other Veterans, providing a place to come during the holidays for Christmas and Thanksgiving, and opening their home up on many occasions to provide a type of surrogate family to lonely and needy Veterans while serving.  

 Since retiring from the military they have remained busy  helping  the community by feeding the homeless, giving Christmas gifts, Easter egg hunts and baskets, Halloween festivals for hundreds of children yearly.  We also send deserving students to the prom, volunteer our time to the community, mentor young men and women in the community, host fundraisers to provide food and clothing along with many other events to serve the local community.

Please help us give a little back to these most deserved ones in our Community.  Our services are not limited to Veterans, we like to give anyone in need the assistance required to reduce homelessness and joblessness in our Community.
